AMATA’s activities will be governed and supervised by a Steering Committee that comprises of representatives from its members. The Committee consists of a cross section of stakeholders that include:

  • Youth and Advocacy Groups

For stability purposes, the Steering Committee (SC) will be in place until the establishment of the AMA and, after that, the membership will decide at a General Assembly called by the SC whether to incorporate AMATA as a legal entity and to review the terms of the governance and composition of the SC. In the meantime, if a member of the SC wants to terminate its membership, another non-State organization from the same stakeholder group will be coopted by consensus by all other remaining members of the SC.
